One of the coolest things about STH is that we get a lot of data on what is hot in the market. If you do not know this, my standard for an STH piece is 100,000+ page views, which is similar to our standard for long-form YouTube videos. Naturally, some pieces perform better than others, but there is one week when our page views go crazy because we publish significantly more than one article per day. That week is Hot Chips week. Instead of publishing 7-8 pieces over the week, we have already published 29 pieces, just on Hot Chips. We did not cover BOS Semiconductor’s Eagle-N autonomous vehicle presentation, nor much of the RISC-V content (more on that very soon). Enough time has passed, however, that we have a solid set of data around which presentations resonated with folks.

Instead of just presenting a quick two-liner for each presentation on what it covered, I wanted to give each its relative ranking based on which are generating buzz. Personally, I think the XCena MX1 CXL controller is fascinating, especially since the major memory providers at Hot Chips 2026 said hyper-scalers are deploying CXL, and Marvell’s CXL business is also seeing rapid hyper-scaler uptake. While I think XCENA has cool technology, it was only the 24th of the 29 articles that we published in terms of traffic.

With that, here is a quick summary of those 29 talks, ranked by the page views they generated. If you want to learn more about each, you can check out the linked STH article for each.

Below is the stack ranking of all the Hot Chips 2026 sessions we covered, followed by the ranking for each based on STH traffic. I had Cliff, who normally handles our news, go through all of these and do his own highlights of the presentations from a fresh perspective, since Ryan and I sat through three days of presentations. Let us kick off with the most popular pieces first:
